November 8, 2022Realty Web Syndicate, the real estate internet marketing company, is expanding service to new markets across the country. Realtracs, the largest multiple listing service (MLS) in Tennessee, is the latest MLS to be added to the real estate lead generation platform.
Realtracs currently has more than 18,000 users in over 1,700 real estate offices across Middle Tennessee and parts of Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky.
Realtracs, the largest multiple listing service (MLS) in Tennessee, was named a winner of the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Leading Edge Award: For Leadership in RESO Web API Adaptation.
Realtracs earned the recognition for being an industry leader willing to move from transporting data through the aging and proprietary Real Estate Transaction Standard (RETS) to the modern RESO Web API, built upon an open standard that is used in many fields beyond real estate.
RESO provides the foundation for streamlined real estate technology through the creation and certification of standards.
As a leader in data management and quality, Realtracs adheres to all industry standards, and their precise syndication options allow you to manage your listings with confidence. Agents can also leverage an easy-to-implement RESO Data Dictionary-certified Web API to power their own sites with listings from Realtracs.
At Realtracs, role is to make the data delivery process easy for you to display listings on your websites and third-party websites. Continuing to innovate the ways in which we package and protect your data is our engineering team’s main goal, and we believe this is a vital step in ensuring that brokers and agents can use their MLS listing data how they want, when they want and where they want.
MLS Grid is where users building their own IDX solution or technology vendors can access a RESO Platinum Data Dictionary-compliant web API. Not only does MLS Grid modernize the way technologists access MLS data, but the single license agreement appropriately governs the use of brokers’ data.
The Internet Data Exchange (IDX) program allows both agents and brokers to display all Realtracs MLS listings* on their personal or company websites. While the available fields are fewer than what you will find in the MLS, all the information visitors to your website need to find their next home will be right at their fingertips. Several companies provide IDX services, and if the vendor you choose does not yet have IDX access, or if you are working with an in-house technologist, the process of getting access is quick and easy.
*Only the listings of participating IDX offices are included in the IDX data feed.
Realtracs’ IDX access is facilitated via a RESO platinum-certified Web API feed from MLS Grid. MLS Grid is a national data platform representing over a dozen MLSs comprising over a quarter of a million real estate professionals from coast to coast. The MLS Grid compiles data directly from multiple MLSs to create a single data feed, unifying compliance, display and usage standards to ease the distribution process for all involved. Based on the latest RESO standards, not only does the MLS Grid modernize the way technologists access MLS data, but the single license agreement appropriately governs the use of brokers’ data.
Acquiring MLS data requires a data license between the agent and broker requesting service, the vendor accessing the data, and Realtracs.
